Hannah Lee Miller
Born on a rainy windswept night opposite the Houses of Parliament as Big Ben struck three, I remember it well, I shot out screaming my head off, to this day I still have a lot to say.
Cultivated amongst an artistic and heavily religious family I was plied with comic books, art, Jesus, fossils, museums and surrounded by books in the midst of riot torn Brixton.
I got waylaid with greenstuff of much variation and misadventure.
In them there wilderness years someone accidentally planted a seed of a notion that animation could be art and it caught in my teeth and bugged me till eventually it got loose and I swallowed it whole and so it began to grow and I hurried back to art school.
Realising how much I'd missed getting grubby with paints I excelled with exuberance. Wanting to make paintings move and pictures cascade into tales I've chased the animation monkey up the education tree. Madly into films and graphic novels and plants (proud allotmenteer and houseplant hoarder) and constantly bombarded with fireworks of ideas. I've arrived here in hope to open up my head and really explore my ideas and potential, letting loose those ideas on an unsuspecting public.
